Marla studied drive work with a variety of the world's top protection sports trainers and has applied these techniques for work with agility and other dog sports. Marla has become an expert on drive training and she considers engagement and drive the basis of all dogs sports. Whether your dog has over-the-top drive that needs control or is a little shy, aloof or not that focused, this sort of training will greatly improve your relationship with your dog and, of course, your performance as a team!


Engagement and Drive Training for All Dog Sports - Marla Friedler-Cooper, MA CPDT has worked with dogs all her life. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer(CPDT) as well as an AKC CGC Evaluator. She also graduated from wild animal training school, where she worked with wolves, lions and tigers. Marla has been a National Agility Finalist with her golden retriever, ADCH MACH 3 Roxy, who is in the Agility Dog Hall of Fame. Her border collie, MACH ADCH Sage, is a nationally competitive agility dog and Marla is currently competing at the masters level with her border collie, Spritz. She is also training her young dogs, Synergy (a border collie) and Samba (a chihuahua).
